Short Term:  There will be cloudy skies and a few sprinkles this morning.  It will be mild start with temperatures in the lower 60s.  Showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, but only about 30% of the viewing area may see them.  High temps will be in the upper 70s.  Patchy fog will develop overnight as the low temperature falls to 60 degrees.

The weather pattern looks to remain the same with isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms through Friday.  This is due to southerly winds ushering in plenty of moisture and warm air from the Gulf of Mexico.  A cold front will try to make its way to Baton Rouge on Friday night, but it will stall just north of here - keeping the chance of rain in the forecast.  Daily highs will be around 80 and lows near 60.

Weekend Outlook:  Overall, not too bad of a weekend.  You can expect a few showers on Saturday, otherwise it will be partly to mostly cloudy.  Sunday will be a relatively nice day under partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80s and lows in the lower 60s.

REMINDER:  Remember to set your clocks forward 1-Hour Saturday night!  Sunday is the first day of Daylight Saving Time.
