Short Term Forecast
The trend of sunny mornings, stormy afternoons and quiet overnight’s will continue through Thursday. All of the same weather elements will stay in place for a few more days. A large area of high pressure parked just off the Eastern Seaboard (The Bermuda High) will keep our winds coming out of the south which will cause us tap into moisture from the Gulf of Mexico . This will help trigger showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon hours. Once again it will be hot today with highs in the mid 90s, but it will be a few degrees cooler Tuesday through Thursday with highs in the lower 90s.
Short Term ForecastIt will turn hotter and drier as we head into the weekend. A deep layer of dry air will work its way into the Deep South on Friday and stick around through the weekend. Temperatures will also turn warmer during this period with highs in the mid 90s Friday through Monday. Looks like it will be a good weekend to hang out by the pool!
