Weekend Update
The month of May ended on a steamy note across
South Louisiana
, and June will start off just as hot and humid. Once again tomorrow afternoon it will be sultry with a mix of clouds and sun and highs in the lower 90s. With the humidity it will feel more like the mid to upper 90s. Like today a few of us could see a stray shower or thundershower pop up during the late afternoon or early evening. The heat and humidity will continue through the first half of the week with highs holding steady in the low to mid 90s Monday through Wednesday. During that period the sky will remain relatively clear.
