Short Term Forecast
What a gorgeous weekend. A broad area of high pressure to our north brought us plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and low humidity today and yesterday. Look for more of the same tomorrow and Tuesday as that high will be slow to push off to the east. Both days we can expect to see low humidity, high temperatures in the lower 80s and lows in the mid 50s.
A Mid-Week Warm-Up
On Wednesday our temperatures and humidity will both increase as an area of high pressure at the surface slides off to our east. This will set us up with strong southerly winds in the mid levels of the atmosphere. High temperatures will rebound into the mid to upper 80s during the second half of the week and our dew points will climb into the mid to upper 60s. By next weekend a few of us could hit the 90 degree mark.
The weather will remain dry through most of if not the entire week. A weak upper level trough could trigger a few showers or thundershowers on Thursday and again next Sunday. Otherwise we can expect plenty of sunshine during the upcoming week. I hope everyone enjoys the warm temperatures!
