Weekend Update
Temperatures didn’t even hit the 70 degree mark this afternoon as a thin layer of clouds hung around all day. That stubborn layer of cloud cover prevented the sun from breaking through long enough warm us up significantly. The clouds will finally thin out overnight and temperatures will rebound back up into the 80s tomorrow. The sunshine and warm temperatures will hang around through Tuesday as no major frontal systems will affect South Louisiana. Highs will hold steady in the lower 80s during this period.
