Sunshine and Warm Weather to End the Week
Sunshine and warm temperatures are in the forecast over the next couple of days. An area of high pressure just off the Eastern Seaboard will be our dominant weather feature. In addition to bringing us more sun than clouds it will also set us up with southerly winds which will help send warmer temperatures back into South Louisiana. Look for highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s today and tomorrow.
A Few Storms this Weekend?
A slow moving frontal system to our north will inch southward over the next few days. By Saturday morning this front will crawl into North Louisiana. This could trigger a few showers and thunderstorms both days this weekend, especially on Saturday. The best chance for wet weather will be in the late afternoon and early evening both days.
