House speaker supports pay raise

One lawmaker was very candid with his belief the Legislature deserves a big pay raise. Speaker of the House Jim Tucker is set to receive the biggest windfall from the raise, as the compensation for him and Senate President Joel Chaisson would be $100,000, compared to the $70,000 package that would be received by most lawmakers.
