WBRZ to Broadcast College Football Special

WBRZ will broadcast “WBRZ Sports 2’s College Football Preseason Special”, a one-hour college football show, beginning at 7pm on Thursday, August 27, 2009.
The “WBRZ Sports 2’s College Football Preseason Special” will cover college football for the LSU Tigers and Southern Jaguars. WBRZ Sports 2 will break down the offense, defense and coaching changes for both schools and how those changes will make each team better. The show will also cover each team schedule and preview the SEC and SWAC conferences to see which teams are in contention for conference titles.
This special will replay on sister station WBTR, which airs on Cox 19 and over-the-air on Channel 41. Viewers should check their local cable companies to see if WBTR is carried in their area. Below is a list of the rebroadcast dates and times.
- Saturday, August 29, 2009 4:00 - 5:00pm
- Monday, August 31, 2009 5:00 - 6:00pm
- Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 11:30am - 12:30pm
The “WBRZ Sports 2’s College Football Preseason Special” will be hosted by WBRZ Sports Director Michael Cauble, weekend anchor Chad Sabadie and reporter Kristen Eargle. The special is sponsored by Team Automotive Group, Manda Fine Meats, Ralph Sellers, Turner Industries, Bayou Buick Pontiac GMC Dealers and Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
