“LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” looking locally for August guest co-hosts

“LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” is looking for a few good men and women, and they’re asking home viewers for their help.  “LIVE’s” audience is being invited to nominate their favorite local broadcaster from WBRZ Channel 2 to join Regis or Kelly as a guest co-host for a day in August, 2009.

The show is looking for news anchors, reporters, weather people, and reporters…. anyone who works on-air at the local “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” station.  In Baton Rouge, that is WBRZ Channel 2. Once the nominations have been narrowed down to 20 semi-finalists, viewers will again be able to weigh in, by voting on the ten broadcasters who will fly to New York to act as guest co-host for a day – five with Kelly August 3-7, 2009 and five with Regis August 17-21, 2009.

Viewers will get more than the chance to possibly see their favorite local TV personality on “LIVE” - everyone who submits a nomination or votes for the guest co-hosts will have the opportunity to win one of ten $500 gift cards.  Nominations can be submitted from June 26th through July 10th, and full details are available at LiveRegisAndKelly.com.
