“We are surrounded by people in our day to day lives at work, church, school, in our neighborhoods who are doing some remarkable things to serve others. They see a need, and more often than not, they don’t wait to be asked. They get it done, and the result is, that people’s lives are changed, in come cases lives are saved. We all can do something. I’m honored to share what I know will be some remarkable stories about people in our own backyard, and what they are doing 2 Make A Difference,” says News 2 anchor Sylvia Weatherspoon.
Weatherspoon says she was inspired to feature others after serving as a narrator for Louisiana Voices. The program allows volunteers to record audio books for the blind.
