Television News Multimedia Reporter
WBRZ-TV is looking for a journalist to enterprise, write, shoot, edit and deliver news to a variety of platforms. You’ll post to the web and air stories on broadcast, digital and mobile channels. At least two years reporting experience with knowledge of computers and digital cameras preferred. Must have strong writing skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Television News Producer
WBRZ-TV has an opportunity for someone to develop their newscast with a team of journalists. Will produce content for our on-air, online and mobile formats. Must be a strong writer who meets deadlines and makes decisions. Need a ‘can-do’ attitude in a high-energy environment that stresses relevant, timely information delivery. Multimedia experience a plus. At least two years professional experience preferred.

Television News Associate Producer
Write for newscasts and special projects. Be involved in story selection, use of graphics and formatting broadcasts. Willing to train.

Television Sales Account Executive
Locally owned TV station is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who thrives in a competitive environment. Applicant is expected to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with assigned station accounts, develop new business, assist in the creative process, and meet all revenue and new business goals for multiple entities. Ad sales experience is preferred, including knowledge of Nielsen ratings, research and Windows-based software. College degree preferred. Good company benefits.

Part-time Television Operations
Will operate teleprompter and work camera during live newscasts. Flexible work schedule. Willing to train.

WBRZ Internships
WBRZ now has ongoing internships in the following departments: news, marketing, information systems, production, graphics, sales, sports, and weather. Intern will experience first hand, daily operations of department and will perform various duties as assigned. Must be enrolled in Louisiana State University, Southern University, Southeastern University, or station approved college/university and be approved by college dean or department supervisor for course credit. Each college semester of fall, spring, and summer. Interviews start approximately two months prior to each semester.
