Sales Secretary/Receptionist
Entry level position. Answer busy telephones, general clerical and office experience required. Telephone and people skills are necessary for this job. Must know Word and Excel computer programs. Knowledge of Power Point helpful. Company benefits includes healthcare. Great opportunity for someone who is looking for stability. Drug free and no smoking facility.

Television News Producer
WBRZ-TV has an immediate opening for an experienced newscast producer. Manage interesting, intelligent, fast-paced local newscasts. Must be a strong writer who understands graphic content and live coverage. Excellent editorial and people skills plus a ‘can-do’ attitude. At least one years producer experience preferred.

Production Producer/Editor
Full-time AVID DS/HD Producer/Editor position available. Team player must be creative, organized, and minimum of 3 years experience with AVID DS/HD or similar compositing system. Workload includes, local retail, political campaigns, marketing, non-broadcast projects. Will be working closely with AE's, Producers and Agencies. Salary plus overtime. Full-time position with benefits.

Television News Non-linear Editor
WBRZ is looking for editors for newscasts and specials. Work on new non-linear equipment. We're using broadcast Edius software. Experience preferred, but we'll train you. If you've worked with Apple, Avid or Adobe, you've got an understanding of what is needed.

Television News Associate Producer
Write for newscasts and special projects. Be involved in story selection, use of graphics and formatting broadcasts. Willing to train.

Television News Photographer
We're looking for a talented news photographer/editor who understands video photography. Experience covering breaking news and packages. Should be a proficient editor with nonlinear experience a plus. Will operate microwave news vans and know or be willing to operate satellite news van. Position requires ability to lift 25 pounds of equipment at times. Schedule can change as dictated by news events. Must have valid driver’s license with safe record.

Television News Reporter
WBRZ-TV is looking for a highly motivated reporter who can generate ideas and turn them into compelling stories. Must develop sources, break stories, have keen news judgment and be able to juggle multiple assignments, as well as become part of the community. Prefer two years of reporting experience. Live ability required.

Part-time Television Operations
Will operate teleprompter and work camera during live newscasts. Flexible work schedule. Willing to train.

WBRZ Internships
WBRZ now has ongoing internships in the following departments: news, marketing, information systems, production, graphics, sales, sports, and weather. Intern will experience first hand, daily operations of department and will perform various duties as assigned. Must be enrolled in Louisiana State University, Southern University, Southeastern University, or station approved college/university and be approved by college dean or department supervisor for course credit. Each college semester of fall, spring, and summer. Interviews start approximately two months prior to each semester.
