For more than 10 years Whitney Vann has been anchoring WBRZ’s popular morning program, 2une In.

A Glasgow, Kentucky native, Whitney earned her Master's Degree at Boston University in television broadcasting and her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Mississippi.

Whitney first came to WBRZ from WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She first co-anchored 2une In in 1994-1995, then returned in June 1999 and has co-anchored the program since. In between her time at WBRZ, she anchored the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news for WAPT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi.

Whitney's years of television news have brought her many awards. She has won an Edward R. Murrow Regional Emmy Award, been part of a team voted Best Newscast by the Associated Press and won the AP’s Best Franchise, along with dozens of other awards.

When not on television you'll likely find Whitney devoting her time and talents to our community. She is on the board of directors for the United Way, Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, and Board President for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Organization Angel of God Project. Whitney is also involved in the Junior League, Children’s Miracle Network, Big Buddy Program, Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana, March of Dimes, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Epilepsy Foundation, Dreams Come True, Girl Scouts, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Community Fund for the Arts.

Whitney resides in Baton Rouge with her husband Robert and their two children Reid and Sydney Joy.
