Chris Stevens
Weekend Meteorologist

Meteorologist Chris Stevens joined the WBRZ weather team in August of 2005. As a WBRZ Weather 2 Louisiana weekend meteorologist, Chris informs the public of severe weather activity.
Born in San Diego, California and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and Rochester Hills, Michigan. Chris has lived in a total of nine states including Pennsylvania, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in meteorology from Penn State University.
Chris spent the early years of his life in the desert southwest before moving to Michigan. He says, "After I moved there I was excited to finally live in a place that experienced active weather. It was at that point that I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in Meteorology."
Before coming to WBRZ, Chris interned at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while attending Penn State University. After college, Chris became the Weekend Meteorologist and Associate Producer for WSAW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin. Shortly after, he was promoted to the Morning Meteorologist for WSAW-TV. Before long, Chris became the Weekend Meteorologist for WMTW-TV in Portland, Maine.
Chris now resides in Baton Rouge. When he isn't working, Chris enjoys roller-blading, bicycling, going to the beach and traveling. Chris says that he has a goal to step foot in all fifty states.
