Todd Ross joined the WBRZ team in March 2000, as the co-anchor for the popular morning show 2une In and anchor of WBRZ News 2 Louisiana at Noon. In May 2007, he became the Assistant Director of News and anchor for WBRZ News 2 Louisiana at 4:00pm.

Todd is from Mandeville, Louisiana, where he attended Mandeville High School. He received his education degree from the University of New Orleans in secondary speech.

Todd's dad brought home a video camera one-day and his passion for the business quickly grew. However, he feared a full-fledged career in television might not work out, so he majored in education. Todd was a student teacher at Ben Franklin High School in Metairie, Louisiana.

To this day, education remains a passion for Todd. "I love to teach," says Todd. "And I hope that passion translates on television. The audience should wake up every morning and learn something new. That's our job."

Todd's career in television began in New Orleans. He worked as an associate sports producer for WWL-TV. He then moved to WSFA-TV in Montgomery, Alabama where he became a sports reporter. He covered the World Series in Atlanta, the Super Bowl in New Orleans and SEC football. He then switched gears to become a feature reporter where he won several awards. From 1997-1999, he won the Associated Press' Best Feature Story. He was also named Best Specialized Reporter two years in a row.

In 2000, Todd had an opportunity to return to Louisiana. "This wonderful state is home. You never realize how much you miss Louisiana, until you leave." Todd says. "My wife, Jennifer, and I are from the same town and it's such a blessing for both of us to be back home with family and friends."

When Todd isn't at work, he's probably dabbling in photography. He enjoys every aspect of the hobby and loves the beautiful landscape of Louisiana, which provides an incredible backdrop. But he doesn't have to go far from home for a photo-worthy subject. Todd and his wife Jennifer have a daughter, Abby Jane, and a son, Blake Charles, born in February of 2005. They also have "another daughter," Sydney, their female boxer.

Todd and his wife are active members of First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
