Saints sign ex-LSU LB Sanders

Former LSU outside linebacker Luke Sanders agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints, according to The Times-Picayune.
Sanders, who started 11 games for the national champion Tigers last season, finished with 30 tackles, including 1 1/2 for losses.
Sanders, who was a prep standout at West Monroe, finished his LSU career with 75 tackles and started 22 games.
According to a news releasee from McNeese, Darrick Brown signed with the Oakland Raiders and his brother, Marcus, signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Both are defensive backs.
“We went were we felt we would have the best chance of making the team,” Marcus said. “For me it was Arizona and for Derrick it was Oakland.”
In 2007, Marcus Brown led the Cowboys with four interceptions.
Darrick Brown finished the year with 34 tackles along with a fumble recovery.
Marcus will report on Friday to Arizona for a minicamp, while Darrick will leave next week for one in Oakland where he will join up with former McNeese assistant coach Adam Henry.
Grambling pair sign deals
According to a news release from Grambling, defensive back DeMichael Dizer signed with the Seattle Seahawks, while wide receiver Clyde Edwards signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
5 Georgia players sign
ATHENS, Ga. — Five Georgia players signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents on Monday, joining the Bulldogs’ four players picked in the NFL draft.
