Football District Scenarios
District 1 (A combination of Districts 1 & 2): West Monroe (8-0) is the champion. Wild-card possibilities: Byrd (7-2), Captain Shreve (6-2), Ouachita (6-3), Huntington (5-3) and Ruston (5-4).
District 3: Sulphur (7-2) has clinched a tie for the title. If Sulphur loses to Comeaux (5-4), St. Thomas More (8-1) can share the championship by beating Acadiana (7-2). Wild-card possibilities: St. Thomas More, Acadiana, Barbe (5-4) and Comeaux.
District 4: Carencro (5-3) has clinched a tie for the title. If Carencro loses to Pineville (5-4), Westgate (5-4) will share the championship. Wild-card possibilities: Pineville, Westgate, Lafayette (4-5) and New Iberia (4-5).
District 5: Catholic High (8-1) will play Central (8-1) for the title. Wild-card possibility: Catholic-Central loser.
District 6: Destrehan (9-0) has clinched a tie for the championship. If Destrehan loses to Dutchtown (6-3), East St. John (5-4) can share the title by beating East Ascension (3-6). Wild-card possibilities: Hahnville (7-2), Dutchtown and East St. John.
District 7: St. Paul’s (7-2) has clinched a tie for the championship. If St. Paul’s loses to Fontainebleau (6-3), Mandeville (7-2) can share the title by beating Covington (1-8). Wild-card possibilities: Mandeville, Fontainebleau, Northshore (6-3) and Slidell (4-5).
District 8: H.L. Bourgeois (7-2) has clinched a tie for the championship. If Bourgeois loses to South Lafourche (1-8), Thibodaux (4-5) can share the title by beating Terrebonne (2-7). Wild-card possibilities: Thibodaux, Central Lafourche (4-5), Assumption (4-5) and South Terrebonne (4-5).
