Anniversary celebration at nature center free

To commemorate its anniversary, BREC is waiving fees for its Saturday celebration of 11 years of the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center.

The center is located at 10503 North Oaks Hills Parkway off Bluebonnet Boulevard between Perkins and Highland roads.

The center features displays the fauna and flora of this unique urban swamp and a boardwalk that allows visitors to tour the facility.
