WHY LSU?: “I came on an official visit (the weekend of the Kentucky game) and I had a lot of fun. I was amazed by the academic program. I like the tutors. ... I like that we have access to academics all the time.”
WHY LEAVE FLORIDA?: “It was a hard decision. I had been everywhere in Florida, so I wanted to experience something different.”
DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO HIGH SCHOOL: “The speed of the game and how strong players are (are the biggest differences). Every day I’m learning and getting better as an offensive lineman. I’m just working hard right now. I’m just trying to prove to Coach that I can play. I just want to work hard and God will do the rest.”
