LSU routs Georgia Tech
LSU mustered a happy ending to an otherwise dismal season with a 38-3 rout of 14th-ranked Georgia Tech tonight in the Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome.
The Tigers (8-5) won their fourth consecutive bowl game by beating the Yellow Jackets (9-4) in their home city.
Charles Scott rushed for three touchdowns and quarterback Jordan Jefferson also stood out as LSU ended a two-game losing streak.
The Tigers improved their record to 5-0 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, which was formerly known as the Peach Bowl.
