Happy Independence Day.
I hope you and yours have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.
Today starts my vacation, so the next couple of weeks will be blog-free for me. That's not to say there won't be LSU baseball news in The Advocate or on the Web site, but I'll be out until July 22. The next day, I am scheduled to leave for SEC Media Days in Hoover, Ala., the unofficial kickoff to preseason football coverage.
Just wanted you to know why the blog will be quiet.
Take care, have a great holiday weekend, and enjoy whatever fills the void for you between LSU sports years.
