9:55 p.m. -- Coleman mows down UNC in 8th

Louis Coleman has retired six Tar Heels in a row, five by strikeouts. We're 3-3 going into the bottom of the eighth.
LSU's Ryan Schimpf robbed Kyle Seager of a hit with a sliding, back-handed stop while moving to his right on the grounder to second. Chad Flack struck out swinging at a pitch in the dirt and was retired on Micah Gibbs' throw to first. Coleman then finished off Garrett Gore with a breaking pitching on the outside corner for a called strike three.
Meanwhile, Carl Dubois reports UNC's Alex White has jogged down to the bullpen to begin warming up.
