We're tied at 3 after six.
Matt Clark's two-run home run to right-center field with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning pulled the Tigers even.
Blake Dean struck out swinging. Switch-hitting Blake Gibbs went back to the right side against UNC lefty Brian Moran, and stroked a one-out single to right-center. That base hit was only LSU's second of the night.
Clark followed with a rocket that was never in doubt. The game-tying blast was Clark's nation-leading 28th homer of the season.
Then DJ LeMahieu struck out and Leon Landry grounded out to second to end the inning.
Gibbs and Clark helped end a drought for LSU's top five hitters in the order. LeMahieu had the only hit of the game through five innings as the Tigers' first five hitters were 0-for-10 (though earning three walks) before the sixth inning.
