8:30 p.m. -- Nothing for UNC in the fourth

OMAHA, Neb. -- LSU got out of potential trouble in the top of the fourth inning rather nicely.

North Carolina's Chad Flack led off by grounding out to shortstop. Garrett Gore singled up the middle. Seth Williams struck out, and Gore was caught stealing for the double play to end the inning.

LSU trails 2-1 as it comes to bat in the bottom of the fourth.
