8:23 p.m. -- They're aiming for 9 o'clock

OMAHA, Neb. -- The word in the press box, announced on the in-house public address system here for the media, is the crew will remove the tarp from the field at about 8:30 in anticipation of trying to resume the game at 9 p.m.

It's still raining, and there appears to be another cell coming, so it seems odd they would pull the tarp with rain still falling, but that's what CWS officials just said.

That plan includes allowing the teams time to warm up, and both teams are in their dugouts, waiting.
