LSU made it another scoreless inning in the bottom of the third.
Jared Mitchell led off by becoming the third LSU batter to be retired on a called third strike, and the third in four batters. Derek Helenihi grounded out to shortstop. Blake Dean was grazed by the next pitch, putting him on first base for Micah Gibbs with two outs.
Gibbs grounded out to shortstop. It's still 4-0 LSU.
