Texas Southern's No. 9-hole hitter, Michael Norris, led off the third inning with a single to right field. Deshaun Dilworth bunted back to the pitcher with Norris running on the pitch, and the 1-3 putout left Norris at second base with one out.
Kyle Smith grounded out to Ryan Schimpf at second base, allowing Norris to advance to third base. Adam Sellers hit a high chopper back to the mound, and Jordan Brown took care of it for the third out.
LSU leads 4-0 as it comes to bat in the bottom of the third inning.
The wind is blowing out from right to left, not strong but enough to assist a ball hit deep enough.
