1:35 p.m. -- Dean HR wins it

HOOVER, Ala. -- LSU won 5-4 in 10 innings, completing a comeback from a 4-0 ninth-inning deficit, on Blake Dean's one-out solo home run over the LSU logo to the right of straightaway center field.

That gives the Tigers a 17-game winning streak and another incredible finish in an amazing run. Dean hit his home run on a 2-0 pitch with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning.

More later and in Thursday editions of The Advocate.

6:10 update: Those interested in tickets can check out this link at SECsports.com for prices and other information.

im really disapointed that CST or someone isnt picking up ALL the sec tournament games,,,it seems (by looking at the coverage map on css.com that our area is the only area(of the teams involved in the tournament) not getting all the games,,, oh well atleast i can listen on XM channel 199

I am living in north georgia, about 2 hours from hoover, was wondering how much the tickets are for the games, I want to check them out since they are so close and I am so far from home... Geaux Tigers, congrats, and thanks carl for the great coverage, it kept me up to date while at work!

Thank you Carl for all your great work! I attended the LSU series against USC back in April, and they haven't lost since. Wow! I've been tracking the team on your Blog for some time now. I cannot thank you enough for keeping me and all the rest of us interested here in San Antonio Texas instantly in the loop! My daughter is an exceptional LSU student, and her Dad graduated from and played baseball for Tulane.... a long time ago. Geaux Tigers! How 'bout that from a "Greenie!" I still pull for Tulane and always will, but how can I not love this storied LSU baseball program... Irrespective of what the rest of the post season holds for this team, they are winners all around. We here (along with the rest of the nation, I'm certain) are very impressed with what they've accomplished already, anything else is merely a bonus.

What a GREAT game!1 We have a little FM station that carries the tournament games and games on weekends. I played for LSU in '58 an '59.and have not been as thrilled since the Warren Morris homer. I am confined to a bed as a result of Cancer surgery in '97 and your coverage of the Tiger baseball season has been something I look forward to during the baseball season. Keep up the good work! Sincerely , Fred Falkenheiner Vidalia, LA
