11:45 a.m. -- Pontiff Classic reminders

Remember, LSU and UNO will play at Zephyr Field in Metairie in LSU's final regular-season nonconference game Tuesday.
Game time is 7 p.m., which might be different than on the schedules you've seen. That's confirmed through Ronnie Rantz and Cox Sports Television, LSU's updated schedule and the folks at the Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation.
Connie Pontiff Geneste, aunt of LSU junior outfielder Nicholas Pontiff and the late Wally Pontiff Jr., the former LSU third baseman, asked me to remind you: "Please bring a nonperishable food item to the Wally Pontiff Jr. Baseball Classic on 5/13 for the Second Harvest Food Bank."
Ticketmaster has tickets for $15, but they will be on sale the day of the game at Zephyr Field. Contact LSU, UNO or the Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation for more details.
