LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Victories today by LSU, Georgia and Arkansas put LSU in first place in the SEC West at 12-11-1.
The Tigers have a nine-game winning streak for the second time this season. After sweeping South Carolina last weekend and Kentucky this weekend, LSU has back-to-back SEC sweeps for the first time since 1998.
For Kentucky, it's an eerie echo of the last time LSU had played a Sunday game here with a sweep situation on the line.
More on that later and Monday in The Advocate.
