LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky regained the lead. I'm getting dizzy.
Just kidding.
With one out, catcher Marcus Nidiffer broke a 0-for-21 slump with a single to left field. Bryan Rose doubled off the big board that is a high extension of the right-center-field wall here.
The sign is like LSU's Intimidator, except it has ads and the SEC team logos, plus an homage to Kentucky's 2006 conference championship. Unlike the Intimidator, Kentucky's big billboard -- the Imitator? -- is in play. Hence, the double.
Collin Cowgill's ground ball into the hole at shortstop created some congestion for third baseman Michael Hollander and shortstop D.J. LeMahieu, who tried to make the play, and Cowgill limped his way to an infield hit that produced a run for a 3-3 score.
Sawyer Carroll hit an RBI single to center for a 4-3 lead.
Chris McClendon grounded into a double play that LeMahieu handled by himself at second before throwing on to first base.
Kentucky leads 4-3 through four.
1:50 update: LSU went down in order in the top of the fifth inning.
