LSU-Bama to start at 2:30 p.m.
The LSU-Alabama game set for Nov. 8 in Tiger Stadium will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. Central time.
Other games on the Southeastern Conference slate that day include Arkansas at South Carolina, Tennessee-Martin at Auburn, Florida at Vanderbilt, Georgia at Kentucky and Wyoming at Tennessee.
The LSU-Alabama contest will be televised by CBS.
SEC LAUDS GEORGIA'S MORENO, GAMBLE: Georgia's Knowshon Moreno and Darryl Gamble were named the Southeastern Conference's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week today.
Moreno rushed 21 times for 163 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown in the Bulldogs' 52-38 romp over LSU. Moreno won the league's top offensive honor for the second week in a row and the third time this season.
Gamble tied an NCAA record for linebackers with two interception returns for touchdowns. His 40-yard return came on the first play from scrimmage as Georgia took a 7-0 lead 20 seconds into the game. Gamble's second score, a 53-yarder with 3:18 to go, finished the Bulldogs' scoring and put the game away.
Other award winners this week include Florida's Jeff Demps (Special Teams), Mississippi State's J.C. Brignone (Offensive Lineman), Ole Miss' Peria Jerry (Defensive Lineman) and Alabama's Julio Jones (Freshman).
