Location of LSU-UNT game undecided
The location of this weekend’s LSU-North Texas football game remains in doubt, but a final decision should be announced today.
LSU’s office of athletic media relations issued a statement Tuesday that no decision had been reached.
Associate Athletic Director Herb Vincent said LSU officials had conversations again Tuesday with representatives from the Superdome in New Orleans, Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Independence Stadium in Shreveport and Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas, about the possibility of moving the game to one of those venues if it is not played at Tiger Stadium.
Vincent also said LSU has spoken with East Baton Rouge officials and state law enforcement agencies and has been told those departments could handle an LSU game this weekend.
