LSU dismisses Jarvis Jones
LSU coach Les Miles announced today that offensive tackle Jarvis Jones has been dismissed from the football team for violation of team rules.
Jones, a native of Rosenburg, Texas, played in seven games last year as a true freshman for the Tigers.
“The issues we had with Jarvis were internal and ones that we dealt with within the framework of our team,” Miles said. “However, we just felt like it was time to go in a different direction. We wish him well in any of his future endeavors.”
