Quartet leads Ascension Catholic to win

EDGARD — Four players helped Ascension Catholic remain unbeaten in Division V, District 3. The Bulldogs ousted West St. John 3-0, winning by scores of 25-22, 25-13 and 25-23.

ACHS (11-10, 4-0) was led by Alaina Ferchaud (7 kills), Chelsea Zeringue (4 kills, 3 aces), Elaine Pearce (4 kills, 3 aces) and Ashlyn Grisaffe (32 assists).

West St. John (3-1 in district) was led by Malana Farrell (28 digs) and Kyla Morse (4 kills, 45 digs).

WHITE CASTLE 3, EAST IBERVILLE 0: WCHS won 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

White Castle (4-2 in Division V, District 3) was led by Simone Beauvais (7 assists, 9 aces), Angela Brown (5 kills) and Stacy Saylor (4 aces).

East Iberville (0-4 in district) was led by Dionnicka Calloway (5 aces) and Claudia Tasker (3 kills).

WEST FELICIANA 3, BAKER 0: WFHS won 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.

The Saints (15-4, 3-1 in Division III, District 5) were paced by Aja Scott (4 aces, 8 kills), Erin Sykes (4 aces, 10 assists) and Britney Washington (8 kills, 2 blocks).

Clarissa Webb (8 kills, block, 3 digs) and Erika Leflore (ace, 3 kills, block, 7 digs) led Baker (9-8, 1-3).

WESTMINSTER CHRISTIAN 3, ST. JOHN 0: Westminster won 25-17, 25-8, 25-8.

St. John was led by Kylee Brown (12 assists, 2 digs) and Hayley Verrett (2 assists, ace) and Katie Falcon (3 digs).

Westminster was led by Rebecca Wright (7 kills) Abby smith (5 kills, 4 aces) and Sarah Fontenot (19 assists, 7 aces).

PARKVIEW BAPTIST 3, NORTHEAST 0: PBS won 25-11, 25-5, 25-10.
