THIBODAUX — The Nicholls State 2008 football schedule features 10 games as of now with five of them being played in John L. Guidry Stadium.
The Colonels are expecting to have a deal in place for a game Aug. 29 or 31.
Nicholls will face New Mexico State at 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 4. The Colonels will travel to Memphis for a Sept. 20 game. The Tigers finished 2007 7-6 record and a loss in the New Orleans Bowl to Florida Atlantic.
A two-week break will follow. Nicholls will begin Southland Conference play with a showdown at Northwestern State on Saturday, Oct. 11.
