Istrouma High School will host its Elisha “Tack” Jackson Indian Relays today at Port Allen High School.
Twelve local teams are scheduled to compete in the meet that starts at 1 p.m. with field events. Running events are scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Teams scheduled to compete include Istrouma, Baker, Belaire, Capitol Pre-College Academy for Boys, Capitol Pre-College Academy for Girls, Clinton, Glen Oaks, Lee, McKinley, Scotlandville, White Castle and Tara.
The meet helps start the week of high school track action during what is spring break for most students.
Scheduled for Friday is the Health Quest Physical Therapy Dutchtown Invitational.
