Tiki is totally tubular!
The Amite River is home to one of the most fun water adventures — tubing. Tubing is sitting on a giant inner tube and floating down the river. It requires no skill, just a fun and relaxed attitude. Best of all, you don’t have to know how to swim. Tiki Tubing was founded by owner John Fore.
“I was looking for something fun to do, my kids were in college. So that’s how Tiki Tubing came about,” Fore said.
Tiki Tubing is off Interstate 12 at the Bass Pro exit.
The fun starts with a short bus ride to the tubing site. Upon arrival, guests can purchase items at a store and get a tube. Fore said once guests enter the river, the trip lasts about four hours.
