Aug. 2: Hot August Night – Downtown Hammond. 6 p.m.-10 p.m. An evening of art, music, wine tasting, shopping and food.

September

Sept. 26: Third annual Dutch Battle Memorial Ride –  The Dutch Battle Chapter of the Motorcycle Awareness Campaign  sponsors this event at the 100 block of North Cate Street.

There will be a gumbo cook-off, live bands and vendors.

The event is open to riders and nonriders alike.
