Staff Sgt. George Ray Draughn Jr. Age:  29 Hometown: Shreveport/Hiram, Ga. Unit: Georgia Army National Guard’s 108th Cavalry Regiment, 48th Infantry Brigade, Griffin, Ga. Date of casualty: Sept. 1, 2005 Incident: Draughn and another soldier were killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near their Humvee during a patrol in Baghdad.
