Sgt. Matthew Joseph Vosbein Age:  30 Hometown: Metairie Unit: U.S. Army 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. Date of casualty: Aug. 29, 2006 Incident: Vosbein was fatally wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated during a foot patrol in Sadr Al Yusifiyah.
