Age: 22 Hometown: Prairieville Unit: U.S. Army 2nd Battalion, 377 Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska Date of casualty: Jan. 20, 2007 Incident: Chism and three other soldiers were abducted and shot to death by men dressed in U.S. military-style uniforms who had driven onto the Provincial Joint Coordination Center in Karbala and attacked U.S. officials and Iraqis attending a meeting. One other soldier was killed during the attack. |
