WBRZ NEEDS YOUR HELP TO STUFF THE BUS

WBRZ needs your help to give East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish Public School students the tools they need to succeed this school year. Sadly, many parents must decide between putting food on the table or pencils and paper in their child’s backpack as they struggle to make ends meet. It is a difficult balance for so many in our area, and one more obstacle between our children and their education. With your help, WBRZ will overcome this obstacle! On July 8th, WBRZ aims to collect enough new school supplies to fill two entire school bus, and not leave any needy child empty handed this school year.
Your donations add up to BIG rewards for the area’s neediest kids. Last year, we raised over $33,000 worth of supplies which were distributed to 72 East Baton Rouge Parish Schools.

We've expanded our "Stuff the Bus" campaign this year. Now, Ascension Parish is included with East Baton Rouge Parish. We're sorry this year Livingston Parish was unable to participate because it said its current school campaign fulfills all the needs of its students. But, as we look to expand, we'll invite them again next year as well as consider other areas. We want to "Stuff the Buses".

We'll be taking your donations from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at BOTH locations.
All supplies donated will go to needy children in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade at East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish Public Schools.
