Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 3 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.
At least two people died in separate incidents on Baton Rouge area roadways Sunday, authorities said. In Livingston Parish, an 84-year-old Tennessee man was killed Sunday morning when a train hit his van, Livingston Police Chief Randy Dufrene said. ALEXANDRIA — Authorities are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed two people Saturday on U.S. 171, south of New Llano in Vernon Parish.
