Letter: Holden’s wrong; it’s a public matter
Wouldn’t everyone like to label an illegal act by a relative a family matter like East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Kip Holden?
I respect his not wanting to comment, but come on.
His sister broke the law, a very public matter. She also broke the public’s trust in our government. She’s not the first and won’t be the last.
So the mayor can make “this is the only comment I will make on the subject” his stance, but this is not a family matter.
This is a very public matter.
