Letter: Constitution lacks church-state line

  • Published: May 17, 2008 - Page: 7B - UPDATED: 12:05 a.m.
This is in response to the letter from Brenda Nixon about separation of church and state, which is found nowhere in the Constitution.

I wish she and others, especially appointed judges, would do their homework and see that term is not there.

Furthermore, anyone with her attitude is siding with Madalyn Murray O’Hair, who went to the high court in 1962 and now tries to rule from the grave.

And not only that, but the American Civil Liberties Union, which was founded by Roger Baldwin, who was a big charlatan.

And what “civil liberties” does the ACLU protect anyway? Anyone know?

And to say we can teach religious principles at home, and that’s it, is a copout at that.
