Dauterive Hospital names directors
Annette B. Schouest is the new director of the Medical Unit at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
Corey M. Duplechain is the new director of the hospital’s Cardiac Cath Lab, the hospital announced this week.
Coussan Road lane closed for repairs
The eastbound lane of Coussan Road on the south side of the Coussan Road bridge in Lafayette was closed Wednesday.
It is scheduled to remain closed for the next two weeks for repairs, the Lafayette City-Parish Department of Traffic and Transportation announced this week.
Finance workshop slated for women
A free workshop for women on investments, taxes and finances is set for Tuesday at the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, 211 E. Devalcourt St.
The scheduled speakers are Nanette Soileau Heggie, a financial adviser with Investment Partners of Acadiana, and Chasity Hook, with Hooks and Associates.

Motorcycle rally slated at RV resort
The Swamp Scooters motorcycle club, of Lafayette, will hold a rally from Nov. 13 to Nov. 15 at the Bayou Wilderness RV Resort on St. Clair Road in Carencro.
The public is invited. Registration is $35.
