LAFAYETTE — Police are searching for a man who allegedly shoved and bit his girlfriend on Saturday.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Cody Wells Francis, 25, of Lafayette, accusing him of second-degree battery.
Francis’ 19-year-old girlfriend told police he shoved her onto a sofa and bit her forehead, shoulder and ear during an argument about 1:45 a.m. Saturday at the woman’s home on Cantel Drive, according to a news release from Lafayette Police.
The woman was treated for her injuries at a local hospital, Lafayette Police spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton said.
