BR man dies in Airline Hwy. accident

An accident on Airline Highway took the life of a Baton Rouge man on Sunday evening.

Kevin Carr, 28, 2150 73RD was killed Nov. 1, 2009, around 10:25 p.m. in the 7700 block of Airline Hwy at South Choctaw Dr. 

Carr, driving a 2004 BMW, was traveling north bound on Airline Hwy when he approached the intersection of South Choctaw Dr and struck a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and is in stable condition.  Carr died at the scene.
 
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this accident.  This accident is still under investigation.
