Deputies search for teen wanted in theft
HAMMOND — Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 17-year-old boy wanted in connection with a supermarket burglary on Wardline Road on Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Lenorris Keys, of Tangi Village, Apt. 20-A, 13080 Quick Blvd., Hammond, is accused of grabbing a woman’s purse at the Quick’s Red and White Supermarket near Hammond after she cashed a check, deputies said in a statement Thursday.
Keys, wanted on a warrant for simple burglary, deputies said, was wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts at the time of the burglary, deputies said.
The woman’s purse was found in an abandoned apartment, deputies aid.
