GALLIANO — The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking two Spanish-speaking men who robbed a Galliano store at gunpoint, Sheriff Craig Webre said Monday.

The men walked into the food store at 17437 E. Main St., about 9 p.m. Saturday, Webre said in a news release.

One man pulled a handgun and the other a knife and told the Honduran woman who owns the store to give them the money in the register, Webre said.

The men fled with an undetermined about of cash and checks, he said.

The sheriff said one of the men being sought is described as 6 feet tall with a slim build and the other is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a light complexion. Both men spoke Spanish but with an unidentifiable accent, Webre said.

Anyone with information may  call Lafourche Parish Crime Stoppers at (800) 743-7433.
